On Friday, 26 June 2026, we presented the new issue of Fototxt<\/em> magazine<\/strong>, whose eleventh edition features two thematic sections<\/strong>. The first is dedicated to the artistic practice of Antun Mara\u010di\u0107<\/strong> between 1976 and 1984, while the second focuses on women artists\u2019 books<\/strong>. In the section devoted to Mara\u010di\u0107, alongside an introductory editorial by Sandra Kri\u017ei\u0107 Roban, research texts by Suzana Marjani\u0107 and Petra Belc Krnjai\u0107 are featured. Suzana Marjani\u0107 examines the performative dimension of Mara\u010di\u0107\u2019s work through selected examples, while Petra Belc Krnjai\u0107 writes about processuality, time, and the filmic aspect of his practice. The texts are accompanied by visual materials \u2013 digitised archival documents prepared for this occasion by Evelina Turkovi\u0107 in collaboration with Tomislav Turkovi\u0107. In the second thematic section, Darko \u0160imi\u010di\u0107 and Sandra Kri\u017ei\u0107 Roban write about women artists\u2019 books from their respective collections, approaching them from different authorial perspectives. While Darko \u0160imi\u010di\u0107 considers the artist\u2019s book and its specific position within art, Sandra Kri\u017ei\u0107 Roban focuses on the photobook as a form of expression intrinsically connected to the photographic medium.<\/p>\n

The magazine is bilingual and has been published in collaboration between the Office for Photography and the Tomislav Gotovac Institute. The launch was accompanied by a discussion featuring Petra Belc Krnjai\u0107 and Ivana Mance Cipek, moderated by Tena Star\u010devi\u0107, followed by a screening of films by Antun Mara\u010di\u0107.<\/p>\n
