From 7 to 9 October 2026, at the Cukrarna Gallery in Ljubljana, the Indigo Festival\u2019s three-day programme will once again bring together critical thought, experimental music, internet culture, visual art and design. Under the theme Hyperconsumption \u2013 The Age of Unpredictability<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0and the motto\u00a0Slop till you drop<\/em>, this year\u2019s edition will explore the hyperproduction of material goods and digital content, information overload, and the social, environmental and psychological consequences of a world defined by excess and relentless production.<\/p>\n

Indigo Festival in Ljubljana<\/p><\/div>\n

At the heart of the discursive programme will be a series of lectures and the\u00a0After Image<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0round table<\/strong>, featuring New Models, Mat Dryhurst, Dean Kissick and David Rudnick, and moderated by Brandon Rosenbluth. The participants will explore emerging forms of communication and thought, the impact of artificial intelligence on our understanding of truth and what it means to be human, and the ways in which the evolving technological landscape is reshaping artistic practice and how we make sense of the world.<\/p>\n

The festival programme also includes an exhibition by British artist and Turner Prize winner Mark Leckey<\/strong>, a\u00a0Spike Art Magazine<\/strong>\u00a0pop-up shop and a photography exhibition by\u00a0Neboj\u0161a Babi\u0107<\/strong>\u00a0at BAZA.<\/p>\n
