From 7 to 9 October 2026, at the Cukrarna Gallery in Ljubljana, the Indigo Festival’s three-day programme will once again bring together critical thought, experimental music, internet culture, visual art and design. Under the theme Hyperconsumption – The Age of Unpredictability and the motto Slop till you drop, this year’s edition will explore the hyperproduction of material goods and digital content, information overload, and the social, environmental and psychological consequences of a world defined by excess and relentless production.

At the heart of the discursive programme will be a series of lectures and the After Image round table, featuring New Models, Mat Dryhurst, Dean Kissick and David Rudnick, and moderated by Brandon Rosenbluth. The participants will explore emerging forms of communication and thought, the impact of artificial intelligence on our understanding of truth and what it means to be human, and the ways in which the evolving technological landscape is reshaping artistic practice and how we make sense of the world.
The festival programme also includes an exhibition by British artist and Turner Prize winner Mark Leckey, a Spike Art Magazine pop-up shop and a photography exhibition by Nebojša Babić at BAZA.
