The Office for Photography and Spot Gallery invite artists and curators to submit proposals for the 2027 exhibition and program cycle. The deadline for submitting proposals is July 1, 2026 (by the end of the day).
Open Call
The call is primarily intended for artists and curators working in the field of photography and related media. Applications may be submitted within four program categories:
- Spot Gallery Annual Program – solo or smaller group exhibitions lasting three weeks
- Young SPOTs – a program for young artists up to 35 years of age, including a ten-day exhibition and a mentorship program
- SPOTIZATION – proposals for educational and discursive programs such as workshops, lectures, talks, and similar formats
- Photobook – proposals for authorial and/or editorial photobook projects
The open call is available to artists of all generations from Croatia and abroad. Applications are accepted via a Google form. The results of the open call will be published on the website in July. Submitted proposals will be reviewed by members of the Office for Photography and the Spot Gallery Council. Selected proposals, as part of the annual gallery program, will be proposed for funding to the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia and the City of Zagreb. Exhibitions and programs that receive financial support will be realized during 2027 in collaboration with the curatorial team of Spot Gallery.
