On Friday, 26 June 2026, we presented the new issue of Fototxt magazine, whose eleventh edition features two thematic sections. The first is dedicated to the artistic practice of Antun Maračić between 1976 and 1984, while the second focuses on women artists’ books. In the section devoted to Maračić, alongside an introductory editorial by Sandra Križić Roban, research texts by Suzana Marjanić and Petra Belc Krnjaić are featured. Suzana Marjanić examines the performative dimension of Maračić’s work through selected examples, while Petra Belc Krnjaić writes about processuality, time, and the filmic aspect of his practice. The texts are accompanied by visual materials – digitised archival documents prepared for this occasion by Evelina Turković in collaboration with Tomislav Turković. In the second thematic section, Darko Šimičić and Sandra Križić Roban write about women artists’ books from their respective collections, approaching them from different authorial perspectives. While Darko Šimičić considers the artist’s book and its specific position within art, Sandra Križić Roban focuses on the photobook as a form of expression intrinsically connected to the photographic medium.
